Park Place

FACILITY TOUR

Park Place

Park Place Irvine is a 2.1-million-square-foot, campus-style office environment set within a 105-acre mixed-use development in the heart of the Irvine Business District. What sets Park Place apart is its rare combination of scale, open-air design and centralized infrastructure — most notably, a single central plant serving multiple building types across the campus. This unique configuration allows for highly coordinated building operations, real-time system optimization and a level of efficiency and performance that is difficult to replicate in traditional multi-building office developments.

This tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at how large-scale building systems are managed, modernized and continuously optimized in a high-performance office environment. Attendees will explore the central plant's advanced chiller system, variable speed equipment and building automation platform, as well as recent upgrades including cooling tower replacements and energy optimization strategies. The tour will highlight how Park Place leverages smart building technology, sustainability initiatives and operational discipline to drive energy efficiency, tenant comfort and long-term asset performance — making it a compelling case study for facility professionals.

The futuristic design has appeared in popular television series including True Detective, Ray Donovan, The Morning Show, and The Old Man, where the facility was transformed into airports, train terminals, and other modern transit settings. ARTIC's distinctive architecture continues to attract filmmakers, photographers, and visitors from around the world, making it one of Southern California's most recognizable contemporary landmarks.
