YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY

IFMA is committed to ensuring a safe and comfortable environment at World Workplace, and the health and safety of all attendees, exhibitors, partners and staff is our top priority.

We are working closely with Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, along with state and local health officials, to implement protocols for preventing the spread of COVID-19. We will continuously monitor the recommendations and most up-to-date guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

PROOF OF VACCINATION OR NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST RESULT

All individuals attending and participating in World Workplace will be asked to show proof of full vaccination OR negative PCR test within 72 hours of arriving at the event. Please read important information regarding the CLEAR mobile app health screening process below.

What to Expect at World Workplace

Proof of Full Vaccination or Negative COVID-19 Test Result

 

You will be asked to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test result through the CLEAR mobile app pre-screening process. With CLEAR’s Health Pass feature, your COVID-19 health screening is quick, easy and secure.

1. Before you leave home 

  • Download the free CLEAR app, enter IFMA2021 and create an account.

  • Please stay at home if you test positive for COVID-19, are awaiting COVID-19 test results, have any COVID-19 symptoms, or recently had close contact with someone who either tested positive or has symptoms.
  • Bring and wear your own face covering/mask and ensure that it fits completely over your nose and mouth. Face-coverings/masks are required in all indoor public spaces, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.

2. When you arrive

  • Fully vaccinated attendees: On the day of your arrival, take a quick health survey on the CLEAR app to complete your Health Pass. Green means you’re good to go! Show your green Health Pass when you arrive at the event checkpoint. Those with proof of vaccination via the designated mobile app will be permitted entry to World Workplace.
  • Unvaccinated and international travelers: Get tested 72 hours prior to your arrival at World Workplace. Follow instructions to securely link your testing provider with CLEAR to upload your COVID-19 test results. On the day of your arrival, take a quick health survey to complete your Health Pass. Amber means you’re good to go with just one more free rapid test. Show your amber Health Pass when you arrive at the event checkpoint. You will be directed to an on-site testing area.

Masks

  • Masks are required to be worn by all individuals, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status in all indoor public spaces.
  • Masks will also be required while riding any shuttle buses provided by World Workplace.
  • Please bring and wear your own mask and ensure that it fits completely over your nose and mouth.

Contact Preference Indicators

Colored wristband and ribbons will be available to all conference participants to indicate their personal comfort level with physical contact:

  • Red – “No Contact – Keep Distance”
  • Yellow – “Elbow Bumps”
  • Green – “Handshakes & High-Fives!”

Clean Environment

Healthy Spaces

  • All participants must preregister online. Registration will not be available on site to reduce high-traffic areas.
  • Self-service kiosks will be utilized for obtaining conference badges during check-in.
  • Stay a safe distance from others and follow social distancing guidelines instituted at World Workplace.
  • Increased aisle space in the expo hall to help with social distancing.
  • Seating General sessions will be dismissed in an orderly and staggered departure to avoid crowds.

Medical Services

Dedicated first aid personnel will be available on site.

By attending IFMA’s World Workplace 2021, you acknowledge that:

  • No in-person event is risk-free during a pandemic. Exposure to the highly contagious COVID-19 virus or the highly transmissible Delta variant may result in serious illness or death.
  • You assume all risks associated with potential exposure to COVID-19 and its variants. IFMA cannot guarantee protection against contracting COVID-19 or any other disease, nor can IFMA guarantee that all event or venue individuals will be vaccinated or free from infection.
  • All attendees have a shared responsibility for event safety. In addition to strictly following event and venue protocols, attendees should take necessary actions to protect themselves and others from COVID-19.
  • Health and safety measures have been put in place for the welfare of everyone on site and that all guidelines should be observed without dispute.

On-site during the event:

  • As of July 28, 2021 – based on updated recommendations by the CDC, masks are required to be worn by all individuals in World Workplace. Masks will also be required while riding any shuttle buses provided by World Workplace.
  • Please bring and wear your own mask and ensure that it fits completely over your nose and mouth.
  • All participants must preregister online. Registration will not be available on site.
  • Washing hands often with soap and water will be encouraged.
  • Stay a safe distance from others and be mindful of the contact preference indicated by their wristbands/ribbons.
    • Red – “No Contact – Keep Distance”
    • Yellow – “Elbow Bumps”
    • Green – “Handshakes & High-Fives!”

Before leaving home:

  • Evaluate your own health and that of people you are in close contact with.
  • Stay home if you have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, have COVID-19 symptoms or have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Stay home if you feel sick, have a fever and/or a sudden loss of taste or smell.
  • High-risk attendees should take extra consideration before joining in person.
