World Workplace FAQs

What is IFMA's World Workplace?
IFMA's World Workplace is an annual conference and exposition geared toward the learning and networking needs of professionals who support facilities—from FM, IT, PM and HR to engineering, security, real estate and sustainability/energy specialists.

Renowned for the superior quality of its educational program, internationally recognized speakers, the diversity of products and services in the expo, and its longstanding commitment to excellence, World Workplace is the preeminent professional development event for facility management.

 Who organizes this event?
World Workplace is hosted by the International Facility Management Association, the largest, most widely recognized and well-connected association for facility management professionals. Formed in 1980, IFMA supports more than 23,500 members in 94 countries.

IFMA works to advance the FM profession through research, certification and credentialing programs, education, global networking, industry information, government relations and partnerships with other respected organizations.

 Why attend this conference?
No other facility-related event is backed by 34 years of FM knowledge, experience and a longstanding commitment to excellence. IFMA knows what facility professionals need to manage and maintain facilities. Programming is geared specifically toward FM needs, challenges and interests. Attending IFMA’s flagship event not only ensures the quality of your experience, but also demonstrates your support of the not-for-profit association that exists solely to advance facility management.
